We are so excited about this special year and would love to share events, look for old friends and really connect with everyone, who at one time in their life, shared a special bond with the school.
Thornhill Elementary School was built in 1958 and is nestled in the beautiful hills of Oakland, close to Montclair Village. The school currently enrolls approximately 360 children in kindergarten through fifth grade. This year is a really special year as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary.
Montclair School donated a TV to Thornhill School so the kids could watch the KQED channel. Back in 1958 Thornhill had zero funds in the bank as they had just formed the newly established Thornhill PFC group.
