The Parent Faculty Club was formed as an independent group. Dr Stanford Plainfield was appointed one of the temporary officers and held the position as the 1st PFC president.

Welcome to the Thornhill 50th Blog
We are so excited about this special year and would love to share events, look for old friends and really connect with everyone, who at one time in their life, shared a special bond with the school.
About Thornhill Elementary School
- Come celebrate the years!
- Thornhill Elementary School was built in 1958 and is nestled in the beautiful hills of Oakland, close to Montclair Village. The school currently enrolls approximately 360 children in kindergarten through fifth grade. This year is a really special year as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary.
