Another article in the Montclarion had the school slated for 12 classrooms and 430 students. The school originally went from Kindergarten to 6th grade.

Welcome to the Thornhill 50th Blog
We are so excited about this special year and would love to share events, look for old friends and really connect with everyone, who at one time in their life, shared a special bond with the school.
About Thornhill Elementary School
- Come celebrate the years!
- Thornhill Elementary School was built in 1958 and is nestled in the beautiful hills of Oakland, close to Montclair Village. The school currently enrolls approximately 360 children in kindergarten through fifth grade. This year is a really special year as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary.
