We are so excited about this special year and would love to share events, look for old friends and really connect with everyone, who at one time in their life, shared a special bond with the school.
Thornhill Elementary School was built in 1958 and is nestled in the beautiful hills of Oakland, close to Montclair Village. The school currently enrolls approximately 360 children in kindergarten through fifth grade. This year is a really special year as we celebrate the 50th Anniversary.
Steve McKiernan, Dad’s Club president read a proclamation from Mayor Dellums proclaiming November 12, 2008 as Thornhill Elementary School Day. (Assisted by Dean Swennumson, student council president.
